Education
Angel Paws is a registered R.E.A.D.® affiliate organization
Angel Paws offers the administrative quality and structure of carefully planned and implemented
in-house programs without the in-house burden on limited resources. We also offer more flexible services and volunteer placements for facilities not interested in the structure of a full service program or who may already have their own programs currently being implemented. Please click HERE for more information about our Reading Education Assistance Dogs programs. We are very grateful to all who share our commitment to excellence!
If you represent a facility interested in implementing one of our R.E.A.D. programs
please see our program implementation information & contact us. Comments about Angel Paws from facility staff, parents & volunteers can be found in our Testimonials & Scientific Benefits links. We look forward to implementing more R.E.A.D. programs soon! Please contact us ASAP if you would like to volunteer! |

LICKING COUNTY LIBRARY

Newark, OH 43055 740.349.5500 www.lickingcountylibrary.info |
Angel Paws/R.E.A.D.'s "Puppy Tales" library program first debuted at LCL in 2006. Children sign up in advance for a private 20 minute R.E.A.D. session with an Angel Paws literacy mentor and Pet Partners Therapy Pet (usually a dog). We periodically schedule limited engagements at LCL for 6 week sessions and sometimes provide ongoing programs of once or twice per month. The Licking County Library (LCL) has been serving Licking County since 1908. LCL enriches lives by connecting our community with the world of ideas and information. Comments ...
